Here at T.L.P. Ministries, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2023, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. T.L.P. Ministries emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

Meet the Founder,CEO,Board Chair

Reverend, Dr. Theresa Poindexter

Reverend Dr. Poindexter is a native of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, a Licensed, Community Health, Holistic Nurse Educator and Ordained, Spiritualist Minister. Throughout her 30 year career in the healthcare industry, she devoted herself to aiding others by hands on Nursing care, as well as, teaching about health and wellness, job readiness and entrepreneurship.

She has acquired various academic achievements and accolades. She also has various Teaching /Instructor Certifications. In 2019 she became an Ordained ,Spiritualist Minister, acquiring both, Doctor of Metaphysics and Doctor of Divinity, Degrees.

As a young teenager, due to the illness and institutionalization of her mother, left

her a victim of homelessness. This stirred her passion to start “T.L.P Ministries”, designed to help at risk individuals dealing with trauma, homelessness, physical and mental health issues.
